DJ Pantany

Daniel Serbu a.k.a. Dj Pantany was born on 14.01.1989 in Ploiesti, Romania. His first passion was the technical part of the sound and so he began gaining more experience in this domain and that pushed him to his second hobby, the genesis of the sound.
The first influences on electronica psychedelic music are a heritage from his father who was listening to Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Jean MIchael Jarre etc. Pantany started by organizing private parties. The need and the pleasure of mixing underground music pushes Dj Pantany to the firts gig in “Soviet Club” Ploiesti. After that he continued with parties and events on “80 Zone” Scaieni, “Posh Pub” Ploiesti, “President” Brasov, “Klang Club” Arezzo-Italy, “Club Opium” Ploiesti, “Club Privilege” Ploiesti, Kristal Glam Club (Bucharest).
He also was the host for a couple of radio shows and guest-shows to radio stations like: Radio Energye (Timisoara), Radio Beat2Life (Bucharest), Radio Trance Romania, Radio Energy, Radio Freak Sound (Buftea), Radio Sensation (Talavera-Spain), Evolution Fm (Constanta), Vogue Fm (U.K.), Radio DJ, Delta Fm (Alba-Iulia), Muntenia FM(Pitesti).
Nowadays, Pantany’s reputation in underground music is continuously rising. “Technolicious” radio-show from Sensation Radio it’s still running and it’s trying to bring to people the greatest ascensions from the dj’s environment (www.sensationradio.net). The latest project signed by Dj Pantany is “PS Sound”, a project based on organizing private parties.
On 23.01.09 Pantany it’s invited with Mindhacker in Italy at “Klang Club” to get a gig (external first gig). As a future plan we mention the releasing of the “Ghost Story” EP, make a part of the Escapism Musique Label (www.escapismmusique.ro) and other important shows and gigs. Dj Pantany’s featured music styles are minimal-tech, tech-house, progressive-house, breakbeat and techno.
